  Scrubbers are effective air pollution control devices for removing particles and/or gases from industrial exhaust streams. A Wet Scrubber operates by introducing the dirty gas stream with a scrubbing liquid – typically water. Particulate or gases are collected in the scrubbing liquid.‎
